What seemed like a slow day turned out to be rollercoaster ride.
A group of seemingly harmless but they seem a bit off too. They took their seats and placed their orders accordingly. Andrew waited on their table. After the kitchen staff huffed and shuffled around on their toes, the food was ready for Andrew’s table. It did not take long for the raucous to begin. They thought it would be something trivial like how it was not properly placed on the dish or an unnecessary request for a different sauce. They never thought they would have an actual cockroach on their pristine white tables. It nested on a napkin for effect. The group claimed the insect came with the food from their kitchen.
Jennifer Abubakar’s establishment is clinically free of germs and bacteria, much less creepy crawlies. Their signature dishes are made in smaller, more controlled servings and it would be impossible for the chef or the waiter to miss anything. Such a corrupt scam is not new, It has been happening to other restaurants that end up losing a huge bill to false claim. It is a form of small-scale of corruption that rip off foodie entrepreneurs. Nothing for people like Jennifer could do except be wary and exercise their right to refuse customers.
